I am so delighted with this - and thanks to everyone who voted for me - I really appreciate your support. I didn't even know I'd been picked out for nomination :-) So it was just the best surprise ever.
Achieve magazine is a specialist education publication for everyone that teaches children, from parents, to foster carers, schools and SEN workers in the UK. It's a great magazine, with loads of in depth articles on everything from the best car seat to ways to increase autism awareness, and is distributed right across the UK, and into all hospitals and doctors surgeries.
The independent judging panel "carefully selected winners that stood out for their innovation, passion and entrepreneurialism" and chose those who have made "outstanding contributions in their chosen fields of expertise".
My award was also pretty special, as it is the first award that was chosen by mum's and parents themselves.
It was a really lovely surprise, I'm posting the picture of the award on my website with pride!
Thanks again to all my lovely supporters (plus their beautiful babies) and the parent judging panel and everyone at Achieve Magazine.
